Cherries win 1-0 at Calne

Success at Calne!

A first half with plenty of chances with The Cherries having the better of them at Calne Town on Tuesday evening gave the away support plenty of hope for a positive result as they retired for a warming half time drink.

The second half started well with Stur looking the better side and creating a number of chances.  66 minutes on the clock and Ben Knight got himself on the end of a cross and opened the scoring.  A well deserved lead, but the lads were just not able to get past some resolute defending and increase their lead, despite dominating for most of the second half. Good performances all round and back to winning ways again.
