Grounds for change

Club Members, Supporters and Players will have noted further changes and upgrades over the past few weeks. In addition to new signage at our Main Entrance we are also in the process of installing perimeter fencing to fully enclose the We Heat South Stadium. This is a Ground Grading Requirement at our new ‘Step 5’ Level following Promotion last season. Unfortunately unlike Wimbledon our ‘Mounds’ are deemed unsafe for Spectators and along with our cherished bench which sat proudly on top have now been excluded from the revised perimeter. We recognise the importance of the bench in memory of former Player and Committee Member Pat Ridout and have therefore re sited it in a prominent position at the other end of the We Heat South Stadium.

Our new perimeter fencing extends towards our Changing Room entrance still allowing our loyal supporters and particularly our younger fans to meet and greet the players as they take and leave the field.

The front and side of the We Heat South Stadium has also been enclosed as part of our Ground Grading requirements.

Further Ground improvements will be announced in due course. Watch this space!
