New stand installed!

Our new stand arrived yesterday and was installed by chairman Lee Bright and his helpers ready for our home match against Cribbs Reserves today.

The stand was required in order to meet our obligations for ground grading requirements at step 6 along with a few other relatively minor adjustments to the ground.

The covered standing has been moved into its new location spanning the players “tunnel” and these two items together should now satisfy the requirment to shelter 100 spectators from the weather (50 seated).

Funding for this project was received from the Premier League Stadium Fund for which we are of course extremely grateful.  The balance, well that came from generous donations and fund raising activities around the club, and of course from your terrific support at matches this season.

More news on the “official” opening will follow soon.
